This book is a "MUST" for those who are trying to research in this burned county. Sections of this book are devoted to its early settlers and pioneers of the Colonial and Revolutionary periods. Also, included are Giessendanner records (probably the most complete set of church records kept in this time period). These records consist of 125 pages of transcripts of marriages, births, and deaths for the years of 1737-1761.
