Here is one book that no researcher looking for lost relatives in the state of Kentucky can do without. Because the counties that this book covers represented over half of the entire state of Kentucky in the late 1700’s. The counties covered in this book are: Anderson, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Fleming, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Nicholas, Scott, Wayne, and Woodford. These records begin in the 1700’s and go well into the 1800’s covering a large range of topics, such as: abstracts of Wills, Deeds, Marriages, and even church/religious records are covered (Old Bible, Churches, Graveyards, and Cemeteries).
