This book contains abstracts of 266 various land entries, warrants, surveys and grants issued by North Carolina for land in the above-mentioned counties of Tennessee. There grants were issued for several different reason, such as: Military Bounty Warrants, Service rights of Survivors, preemption warrants or for settlers heading west, and etc.
