Jasper County, Missouri, History of.

Jasper County was created in 1841 out of Barry County which in turn was carved out of Greene County. It is located in the southwestern corner of the state boarding Kansas. This history is extremely similar to the one’s that Goodspeed Publishing produced on the state of Missouri. A very through history of the county is given along with a very large genealogical / biographical sketch section. Until now, using this book for research has been very difficult. We have included a NEW INDEX that makes this reprint an extremely exciting and useful tool for the family historian / genealogists.
