Journal and covers the period of 1890-1905. Most give descriptive accounts of deaths of Barbour County citizens, as well as sometimes giving their parents’ names and the decedents place of birth and even birthdays, as well as age at time of death. Some deaths are of persons born in the very early 1800’s.
