Anderson District is the predecessor to the County being created. Anderson District is located right in the heart of the migration routes of persons headed west and northwest of persons migrating through the Upstate. These abstracts list such things as: the grantee and grantor, occupations, dates, page & book numbers, sales price, detailed location of property and etc…. These 1,268 deed abstracts are from Books Z and AA which cover the years 1845-1852.
