These abstracts of Books 40-43 cover 2,562 grants which were located in Johnston, Granville, Orange, Nash, Surry, Duplin, Caswell, Tryon, Edgecombe, Hyde, Wilkes, Mecklenburg, Dobbs, Pitt, Richmond, Rowan, Lincoln, Franklin, Montgomery, and Camden Counties between 1778 and 1784.
