Baldwin County was created in 1803 from Wilkinson County. These records of deaths come from The Federal Union, a newspaper that was being published out of Milledgeville, GA. These records were originally to be included in "Marriage & Obituaries from Early Georgia Newspapers". Unfortunately, they were left out but were just recently rediscovered. This book should be considered a companion volume to the abovementioned book. The Index mentions approximately ??,000 names.
